Help us to help dogs in need!

Hello you! Welcome to a world where it’s all sunshine and rainbows. Ok, maybe that’s only wishful thinking – BUT we are dedicated to make exactly that happen for the dogs here on the island.

Let me tell you a little more about Bali Paws and the work we do:

The Puppy House

The puppy house isn’t just a house. For most dogs we rescue from the street, it’s the first home they know. The first place where they get to experience what it feels like to be loved and cared for. By a family. A big family.

All our rescue pups live here together with the team and we try our very best everyday to make their life as “normal” as possible. That means daily walkies at the beach, regular meals, and playtime as much as they want with their friends. When the sun sets, they snuggle in their beds safe and sound inside the rooms.

But it’s not only about the daily routines or the fun stuff. It’s about helping these amazing dogs heal and learn to trust again. Until every pup finds his or her forever home.

And until that day, we are their family, giving them all the love we’ve got. ♥️

Education Project

“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” – let’s set this straight. While older dogs can indeed learn new tricks, it’s true that changing the mindset of older people can be a bit tricker to say the least.

We believe that we could make a much greater and lasting impact by focusing on the younger generation instead! Kids are the(ir) future! 🐾

So the mission of our education project is to go from school to school with a dog or two and break the cycle of misconceptions that eventually resulted in many generations fearing dogs, but also show kids how to behave around dogs in order to stay safe.

We hope that through interactions with the dogs, we can plant a seed and create positive experiences so kids get a new perspective on what dogs truly are. Their friends.

We also provide each child with coloring pencils and an education booklet. The booklet not only teaches them about different dog body languages, it also tells a really cute story about a girl named Ayu and her dog Brownie. Plus, it’s half coloring book, so the children can have a blast coloring the pages with their friends or siblings at home and maybe start a conversation within the family.

Sterilization and vaccination project

Did you know? One female and her offspring can reproduce 67.000 puppies in only 6 years. Crazy, isn’t it?

Our mission is to create a better future for the dogs on the island – and the best way to do so is by vaccinating, spaying and neutering. This prevents the spread of diseases, overpopulation and ultimately reduces the number of homeless and dumped puppies.

Spaying/neutering and fully vaccinating one dog against deadly viruses like Parvo, Distemper and Rabies costs 45€ in total.

We believe that this is the key to end the suffering and ultimately makes their life better here on the island.

Medical Care

From broken bones to treating wounds, curing parasites and skin diseases … you name it! 😅 Rescuing new dogs and having so many pups in our care comes with high medical bills and each month is a challenge.

Let’s face these challenges together! A donation from you can be a game changer and help the dogs to get the medical care they need.

Without your help all of this wouldn’t be possible. Become part of the Puppy House family today and support these pups with a donation. Every little bit counts and your support gives these dogs a chance for a better life. Thank you so much for being part of this journey with us. Let’s brighten up their future together!
